CASEY HOWELL ART
About Artist
I'm an artist whose journey began in the shadows of pain. Living with an autoimmune disease forced me to let go of many things I once loved—but in that loss, I uncovered a hidden gift: art. What started as a way to cope became a powerful form of expression, healing, and connection.
My work is rooted in Black culture, my Island heritage, and womanhood. Blending mixed media, collage, digital art, Afrofuturism, and epoxy to create bold, soulful pieces. I’m drawn to the strength of female figures, nature, and animals—symbols of resilience, beauty, and power. Each piece I create is layered with emotion, storytelling, and textures that reflect both my internal world and cultural pride.
Through my art, I transform pain into beauty and give voice to what often goes unspoken. Welcome to my world—where healing, heritage, and imagination collide.

My Style & Purpose for my Art
Art is a powerful medium that allows us to transform our pain into purpose, revealing the profound beauty that lies within resilience. Each brushstroke tells a story of struggle, illustrating how adversity can shape our identity and fuel our creativity.
When viewers encounter my artwork, I want them to feel a deep connection to their own experiences, understanding that pain is not merely a burden but a catalyst for growth. Through vibrant colors and dynamic forms like mixed media, digital art, collage, acrylics, and oils, I strive to convey the message that resilience can lead us to find meaning in the chaos of life. Ultimately, my art invites others to embrace their journeys, recognizing that within the shadows of hardship lies the potential for extraordinary beauty.
"You can't use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have."
